Flat Roofing

Traditional flat roofs generally have a much shorter lifespan that pitched tiled or slate roofs. That’s because felt which is applied with hot bitumen is susceptible to extremes in temperatures causing the joins to eventually fail allowing surface rain water to leak into the structure, typically garages and extensions. However, ASAP Roofing & Guttering has the perfect solution.

We offer fibreglass and rubber roofing options, the latter has a lifespan of in excess of 50 years (a pitched roof has an average lifespan of 60 years and a traditional flat roof using felt 15 years). That’s because rubber is a highly waterproof, flexible material able to expand and contract and because it has no joins, remains watertight. Fibreglass, also highly waterproof, has a lifespan of around 30 to 40 years.
